Shadow As Liner Trick!

All out of your favorite gel eyeliner? Frustrated with your annoying pencil that keeps breaking on you? Well, have I got the trick for you!

Okay, so here's what you're gonna need:
  • A thin angled brush
  • Black (or whatever color you choose to use, be creative!) eyeshadow
  • Water
  • A mirror!
First, dip your angled brush in some water. You could probably go without the water but I prefer it, it gives a more clean line (and it's impossible to rub off!) You won't need much, just a tiny little drop will do. Then, apply the brush to your eyeshadow. Once you have your shadow on the brush, carefully sweep the brush along the upper lash line. And, voila! You have perfectly applied eyeliner with no hassle!
I would suggest to not even go near the tear-line, it's just too messy with all the water and it would wear away quickly since it's really only shadow. But if you wish to play up you're eyes a little bit more, feel free to put some under the lashes.
But always remember that makeup is simply a thing that we feel creative and to give us a little confidence pick-me-up. Everyone is beautiful in their very own way, and makeup is simply a way of expressing this. So please keep in mind that makeup may make you feel pretty, but it is unbecoming to apply layers and layers of it, especially since we hardly need it since we are all beautiful in our own, unique way. Also, feel free to just do whatever you want with your eyeliner, if your feeling bold then why not a fresh shade of purple? Add a little spunk into your life, people! Even a tiny swipe of hot pink eyeliner from CVS can make you feel like a million bucks!
 Hope you liked!

What's "IN" This Spring

Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Ha ha I guess I just forgot!
You know how everyone always says, "Ugh, that is so last season," in books and films? And how it always kinda leaves you curious of what she's talking about? Well, apparently for each season there is a certain trend. For some people, you can't wear the same season's trends twice. Like, say, high waist-ed skirts are "in" this winter (which they most definitely are!), for some people they can't also be "in" that following spring. For me, I understand if something is so called "last season" but I never think that you can't wear it again! Wear what you like! But for others, they would rather get a terrible haircut that makes heir face look fat than be seen in last season's trends. But that's okay, everyone has their separate opinions.
Take this dress for example, this dress by Sheike, an Australian label (and one of my favorite brands ever!), is considered in fashion. It has a high waist-ed  skirt, ruffles billowing down from the shoulders, a nicely fitted belt around the torso, and a draping, ruched, dark skirt. Now some may argue that belts are done to death but I disagree. Look at how chic it looks! It is very thick and it sports a triplet buckle! How could someone not love it? It's so creative! And, I would also challenge that anti-belts theory because belts are a timeless accessory that can always put the finishing touch on any outfit, no matter the season!
Well, if you are totally intrigued by this "in" and "out" thing (which I have to admit, is pretty cool and it's a nice piece of info to keep in mind before a fancy party) and would like to know more, allow me to describe what is predicted to be in this coming spring.
Flare jeans are certainly expected to have their next giant comeback next season. Nothing extreme like the 1970's, just a light flare at the knee. I wouldn't recommend this style for people more on the short side though, flares often make the petite in height look stout. So, one could probably get away with a straight leg pant.
Also,  (this is a good heads up for you beach lovers!) transparent totes are expected to be a major trend this spring. I am super excited for this new fashion, it's so modern! I love this bag by Prada, especially. It's so cute! I think it would be kinda odd, though to go to the beach in a tote like this one and have all your personal beach items be modeled off to the rest of the world! Ha ha! And I can't imagine this one looking good with all my everyday purse essentials in it, it would look so cluttered and whatnot it would probably loose all fashion and have it replaced by...messiness. So I suggest keeping your totes empty! Unless of course, only a side pocket is transparent, then you could definitely work it!
Well, it may not be much, but so far that's all my research has come up with so far! I hope you enjoyed!
